Human love is about human beings and the way they feel toward each other along with all of the romantic stories seen in movies and in books. What human beings do not realize is that human love is a metaphor for the real love that the ancient mystics speak of. For human beings love is always about loving something outside of themselves. It is about loving someone or something whether it is a person, place, and thing, some form of nature or animal.
“Real love” is about universal love. Universal love is about the unity of all things. It is about non-separateness or non-duality. It is about the experience of oneness not the intellectual understanding. It is about your true essence, your spirit not about anything outside of you having to do with human beings interpretation of love. Because of this misunderstanding of love or what we will call universal love we will refer to universal love is unconditional acceptance. We would also like to define universal love as the experience or feeling of being so unified with all of existence that one has to be at peace and never having any thoughts or feelings of negativity or the desire to harm anything in the universe. Understand that unconditional acceptance is the human interpretation for the feeling of universal love.
We would like to suggest that people interchange the words unconditional acceptance and the word love. In using the words unconditional acceptance human beings have a better chance at the possibility of understanding divine love. The way love is currently interpreted it will always be temporary, fleeting and disappointing.
Unconditional acceptance allows a human being to cease judgment of their ego/personality, its actions and choices. By doing this they no longer spend needless time and countless hours in judgment of what they interpret as themselves. It must first be understood that the ego/personality is not them. The ego/personality is simply an operating system that human beings use to live on earth. When a person stops looking at the ego/personality as being them and perceives this simply as a system of living on earth, it makes it easier and creates a space for them to begin to get in touch with their own inner divine essence.
It seems that as long as a person seeks to love themselves or others they will be continually distracted by the ego/personality and misinterpret its function thereby distracting them from getting connected with their true essence.
People are misinformed that they must love others. The truth is that if people do not unconditionally accept themselves it will be impossible for them to love others and this will always be temporary at best. This idea is used by the world to keep people distracted from finding their true essence in order to create and maintain false power in the earth world. What do you think it would be like if people were taught “Forget about everyone else and learn to find your own divine essence?” This would create havoc in the world.
We suggest that it is good for a person to learn to function in the outside world while they focus on finding their true essence which means to love themselves and that by doing this they will automatically be capable and will love other people.
